Challenger plays tunes that remind me a lot of early nineties post punk or indie in the vein of Seaweed. The tunes are all melodic and drivey, production is warm and balanced, and the temper is short. The guitars and vocals have a low warm tone and will have you fired up like your first three cups of coffee did. After listening to Challenger a few more times, “Give People What They Want In Lethal Doses” grew on me.
