For those not familiar with Anthony B., he has been mashing up the Jamaican dancehalls for a hot minute now. Numerous 45’s can be heard at any given Reggae dance at multiple times in the evening, in fact internationally. This set is mostly newer versions of classic rhythms, crushed by his razor sharp dancehall chat. The message is evident from the initial track, “God Above Everything”; he praises Jah above the harlots, the bling blings, and other factors that pull a conscious man away from the most high. The album features collaborations with: Reggae legends Culture, doing the classic “Two Sevens Clash”; Reggae staples, The Mighty Diamonds, also appear doing a ROUGH version of the all-time hit “Pass The Kutchie”. The lyrics are slackness-free, purely conscious, full-up Rasta anthems. Anthony B. is truly a dancehall master, and it is evident in this latest release that he is a vocalist hard to match.
