Muse to use drones live

muse

This is English rock band Muse.

The band has six studio albums under its belt with numerous hits, tours, videos and awards under their belts.

Over the course of their career, they have developed a reputation for visually stunning live shows.

The next level? Drones, obviously.

The band is gearing up for the release of their seventh album, entitled, “Drones”.

Frontman Matthew Bellamy comments: “We always like to use the modern technology in our shows, the latest video screens or light shows, lasers, whatever is out there. Drones are obviously an interesting thing to try to bring into the live show so we’re going to try and do that. There’s going to be some difficulty with red tape of health and safety about flying things over, but the general thing idea is that as the tour starts that we’ll be using flying objects”

No word yet as to what kind of weapons will be included with the Muse drones.

Combining highly intoxicated crowds of thousands with free-flying propeller powered drones… what could possibly go wrong?

Check their epic modern western 6 minute track that ends in some righteous rock with a cowboy flair…

If you aren’t that familiar with Muse… you might have caught this track circulating around… it hit no. 1 for 17 weeks back in 2009…

Their summer tour is in Europe, so the US is safe… for now.
