Rob Zombie ain’t letting no pandemic slow him down.
The master of horror and grinding industrial alt-metal spent most of 2020 working on his next full length release, “The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy”. The album is slated for a 2021 release date, but singles have been dropping to tease the masses.
The second of which is creatively titled, “The Eternal Struggles of the Howling Man“.
It kicks off with a creepy keyboard intro before ramming full blast into Zombie’s gravel-laced howl against chugging riffs and out-of-control-car-crash like intensity. But look out for the porn-star chill break-down in the middle.
It’s solid and right in the pocket of what you might expect from Mr. Zombie. The formula works, and it’s apparent the machine still has more ideas to spew forth in a froth of blood and metal.
