Rival Sons dig up new song ‘Hollow Bones Pt. 1’

Rivmain

This is Rival Sons from Long Beach, CA.

They jam on a sort of bluesy stomp with classic rock nods that seems to do very well over seas, as most of their releases have charted well in Norway, the UK, and generally all across Europe.

Rival Sons do sell in the states as well, with their last album, “Great Western Valkyrie” hitting no.1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.

Currently, the band is out on tour as the opening act for Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath!

That alone should be enough cred to at least give these guys a listen if you haven’t already.

But the band has been on a meteoric rise as they’ve worked through tours with Judas Priest, Evanescence, Sammy Hagar, Kiss, and Aerosmith all around the globe, have been on all the right talk shows, (Kimmel, Letterman) and played most every major festival around the world if it features some high octane electric rock n roll.

Rival Sons has a new album coming out in June of 2016 called, ‘Hollow Bones’.

Frontman Jay Buchanan on the new release:

“Each record we’ve made has been part of a distillation toward revealing the band’s essence. This record finally is the release of the unapologetic, wild beast that has long lived within the ribs of Rival Sons howling to be freed.”

The first track, called, ‘Hollow Bones Pt. 1’ has been made available for streaming. Just for you.

Here is one of their biggest hits to date, “Pressure and Time”. Kicks in with that old-school Zeppelin catch…
