Fetish
“Silver”
(Adeline)
Hailing from Greendays Billie Jo Armstrongs label, Adeline, these Bay Area boys have assembled an album unique unto itself. Bearing overall more of a punk influence than anything else, it lacks the gritty, rawness of true punk format, but its complicity is its selling point. Hell, with all the bands out there right now loosely throwing about the term punk to hallmark themselves, I suppose I would be safe with that label. But Id hate to pigeonhole these guys. Silver is stamped with the elements of melodious synchronicity and elevated rock gestures, characteristics often absent in punk. So do right by these guys, and hunt their album down and give it a listen.
