Further Seems Forever
“How to Start a Fire”
(Tooth and Nail Records)

I don’t have one word of shit to talk about these guys.  I put the CD in my car and I didn’t take it out for 3 weeks.  Further Seems Forever has everything that an indie/emo rocker wants to hear, thoughtful emotionally charged lyrics, guitar hooks and changes that are calculated and complement each verse and chorus perfectly.  The drumming is solid and  imaginative.  I don’t rave about bands very often but this record is incredible,  I would say that the future holds good things for these guys.

In case your the kind of person that needs to have something to relate them to, the closest comparisons I can make are a mix of Jimmy Eat World, The Getup Kids, and Seaweed. Of course they have their own style goin’ on as well.  If you want to buy a CD with some depth and passion, pick up “how to start a fire” I promise that it will be worth your money, and if you don’t think so then you should go trade it in for a Creed album you super goon.
