Asking Alexandria announce new shows, but not new singer

This is English metalcore band Asking Alexandria.

(and some vending machines I CANNOT find in my neighborhood).

They’ve achieved a fair amount of success, spurred by frontman Danny Warsnop.

However, Worsnop announced his departure from Asking Alexandria on January 22, explaining in a statement: “Over the last eight years together, we’ve done some amazing things and created something truly special. I now, same as then, want what’s best for the band and at this point in time, that isn’t me. Asking Alexandria will continue to tour throughout the year and will be working on a new album.”

Worsnop added, “I will always support and love Asking Alexandria and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.”

The singer’s departure was to focus on his current band, We Are Harlot.

That left Asking Alexandria with three albums in a fairly successful run, with work started on album four, but no singer.

Moving quickly, the band has announced two new live dates, but have not announced a new singer.

The band will be playing Manchester Academy 3 on May 31st and London Underworld on June 1st.

New material has not been released, so we can only give a taste of the Warsnop fronted AA…
