Review: Voice of a Generation

Voice of a Generation
““Obligations to the Odd””
(Burning Heart Records)

Considering what else is being released from the cold Nordic lands of Svens and Ingas , for example the Hellacopters or Gluecifer, Voice of a Generation falls way short of recent releases of punk.  They’re slightly repetitive sound hails from a generation 23 years past. The ‘77 spirit is carried on by Charlie Voice’s vocals, are left a bit bland; but they’’ve given it an honest try with a catchy guitar and bass. And although they have that spirit of ‘77 behind them, they are the voice of repetitiveness. But shit they have made it far enough for a mutt punk like me to criticize them so they can’t be half bad, give them a shot.
