Old Time Relijun sounds exactly the way you would think they would with that name. The tunes have red hot burning voodoo blood coursing through them. Song two is titled “Vampire Victim” for god sakes! I assure you it’s not as simple as I made it sound with that last comment. This record is truly dark. There are echos and odd reverberations, deep resonate drumming and posssed vocals. “Cold Water” is an excellent example with it’s constant basic rhythm through-out the duration of the creepy, scary tune. There are accents behind everything. The vocals are coming from the soul of someone taken over. “Lost Light” is not like anything that I’ve heard.
