An impressive debut that still feels very much the debut from Blacksonny. Let me explain: they sound like they are all so good at playing their instruments that they tend to stray all over the map soundwise without a real strong “personality” in the front of the band. Fans of the Radiohead school of alternarock will find a skilled new contender here. I have a feeling their next release will really show the band stripped down to their essence, unless some major picks them up and forces them into being shite.
