Some bands are subtle about their drug use… others wear it in the open as one of many anti-establishment positions.
Oakland, CA three-piece Connoisseur will be releasing their their new album, “Stoner Justice” later this summer on the Tankcrimes label.
Their FaceBook says, “FULL BLOWN MARIJUANA ADDICTS”.
A lot of rap bands seem to be able to ride the green wave to some kind of notoriety, so perhaps Connoisseur will bubble through to the top to represent the crushing fast punk contingent.
They list their influences as, “Weed, skulls, bongs, coffee, zombies, straight edge music, burritos.”
They are on tour everywhere this summer, check below for some dates.
But as a teaser for the up-coming album, they have released a video for ‘Orc Summer’. To say it’s a weed influenced video is an understatement. But it tears it up and breaks it down super speedy street punk style.
