Bone never really did anything for me, but armed with the rapid-fire, sing-song flow that BTNH made famous, Sandman puts together some real bangers. \u0093Whut You Gone Do&#8230;\u0094 and \u0093Are You A Rider?\u0094 (with Slink Capone) are solid tracks, even if they offer nothing new to the aging genre of gangsta rap. \u0093Redrum II\u0094 is a catchy song based around hallucinogenic images, and \u0093Lets Ride\u0094 is a smooth rap, even if it does take time to decipher Sandman\u0092s hyperactive rhymes. The best track, however, might be \u0093Untitled,\u0094 an honest discussion of a relationship gone wrong. \u0093No Secrets, No Lies\u0094 might be a better album if a few songs (especially \u0093In The Mood\u0094 and the Prince-biting \u0093Darklight\u0094) had been dropped, but on the whole, the album is definitely worth checking out.<\/p>\n<p>C-Train<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sandman &#8220;No Secrets, No Lies&#8221; (Lifestyle) Sandman hails from Minnesota, and his lyrical style shows the influence of fellow Midwesterners Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
