Macro photography makes monsters

That is a moth.

Seriously.

The world looks quite different when you zoom in on it.

Our arrogance makes us view the universe with the presumption that we are the base size for measurement… things are either smaller, or larger than us.

When in reality, it’s all relative and our whole universe is just one neuron in a giant mentally challenged brain floating in a huge vat of something very similar to Mountain Dew. Fact.

While you wrap your head around that, check out some dazzling photography from Vasily Menshov who uses a macro lens to capture the intricate characteristics of everyday insects and arachnids which are usually invisible to the naked eye.
