Sweden has emerged as another NZ, in the last few years in terms of being a breeding ground for a freighter full of bands doing all sorts of (fun) new retro re-fittings of rock. Here’s yet another band o’ Swedes, but this is a theatrical sextet of light metallers that ce;ebrates 70s prog-metal dashed with some of the worst of 80s hair-metal. Over-the-top bombast is fine, but when they pull out all the dipshit rock cliches the house of cards collapses, “Carousel”, “Trust” and “Pantomine” (sic) being prime examples. There’s too much dreck in here to wade through to find those few decent notes.
