Audio: Cloak – In The Darkness

Atlanta metallers Cloak is streaming “In the Darkness” off of their newly released self titled seven inch, out now via Boris Records here.

The EP was recorded at Rising Tide Studios with Anthony Lunn to record the EP. “In the Darkness, the Path” is a crushing mid-paced track that is by far the band’s heaviest, while “The Hunger” presents an eerie, ghastly sound to close the record off. The lyrical concepts for each are just as important as the music itself, focusing on the spiritual transformation that opposes what most would deem as earthly truths. The result of the recording is one of pure chaos that haunts you well after the music is over.
