Review: Jet By Day / The Maginot Line

Jet By Day / The Maginot Line
““Cheap Shot / Theme Song”
(Two Sheds Music)

Jet By Day’s bass is so heavy I had to turn down my record player to keep the inside of my ears from tickling.  “Cheap Shots” indicates this band would have been a good opening act for Hum.  As I stare at the bright red vinyl I’m hoping the inside of my ears are not bleeding.  On the flip side, The Maginot Line reminds me that punk used to be a little grittier, but that modern science has made it easy to take the edge off during post production.
