Review: Useless I.D.

Useless I.D.
““Bad Story Happy Ending””
(Kung Fu Records)

Useless I.D. has a sound that resembles that of the Ataris.  Their songs about girlie relationships, hanging with the boys and being sixteen again carry, on a definite punk-poppy sound.  It’s almost like they are reaching back into the histories of each and every one of us who ever attended high school, and they have captured the soundtrack to our experiences.  I especially like the line out of the track, “No Time For Me to Be a Teenager”, “I’m out of broken hearts to give to you, I guess I’ll save them up for someone new.” Now who can honestly not identify with that?  The songs are quick and cute…aww how nice, and yes it is!
