Meet Surveillance. They are from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The band consists of guitarist Dave Burns, bassist Rachel Fry and drummer Tri Le.
They are gearing up for the release of a new album, “Smells of the Future”.
Geographically speaking, they live very near the area Eric’s Trip originated from. Sonically speaking, they also originate from the same area Eric’s Trip originated from.
Guitarist Dave Burns comments on the influence they wear upon their sleve:
“When Rachel and I started writing songs together it was very much in the style of Eric’s Trip because that was one of the only bands that both of us truly loved and we used it as a common ground.”
Surveillance have released a single called, ‘Death’. It’s full of full decadent distortion and sappy indie pop goodness.
