Review: Red Roses For A Blue Lady

Red Roses For A Blue Lady
““Return To Melancholy””
(Eulogy Recordings)

Out of all the music I’ve received this month, this is my favorite. Red Roses are one of the best of the newest wave of metal core bands. They have ex-members of Culture that was another excellent FL band. These guys have the signature Florida sound, super melodic, dark, and with emo and black metal influences. At times they sound like a way more melodic Barrit. The lyrics are really dark and emotional in nature. Suprisingly though the lyrics aren’t vague like many other current metal bands. The vocalist has quite a few targets and lyrically gets his revenge. This is one band I expect more good things in the future.
