So much good stuff from this Boston foursome its hard to decide just what to say. Ill start with the vocals-Ian Larrabee is not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve as he belts out solid, poetic lyrics without allowing them to unravel into sugary sweet power pop punk. My favorite thing about his lyrics is that he asks tons of questions within each song. Lines like This broken heart-is it my own invention? and How could I begin to forgive-when you never gave me a chance to forget? show the raw emotions within each brilliantly constructed track. Next Ill mention the raw guitars. I havent caught myself doing a good air-guitar since Pennywises Perfect People in high school, but in the middle of writing this review, I looked down lo and behold I was busted. How embarrassing. Im running out of space here and I can tell Im not going to be able to mention how good the drums and the bass are. Rather than take my word for it, just go out and buy the CD already. Even better try to catch them on the Warped Tour. Just dont get caught air-guitaring through their set. Girls think its lame.
