North Carolina quartet Joy will release a new five song EP titled Of Nothing on July 17, 2016 via Blood & ink Records. The EP was produced by Kris Hilbert (Between the Buried and Me, Torch Runner). Stream “Hope Less” here.
Vocalist Andrew Langhans commented:
“The lyrics of ‘Hope Less’ came about as I was overwhelmed and stressed about the direction my life was headed. The monotony of day-to-day happenings and the occasional feeling of being lost has made me wonder from time to time if I should lower my expectations on what my life will amount to. I realize this isn’t the most positive outlook, but it’s something I have wrestled with. I want my lyrics to be true to myself and honest with whoever listens.”
