Review: Gameface

Gameface
““Always On””
(Revelation Records)

This CD kind of warms you up if you’re feeling blue or just got dumped by your significant other. These country influenced emo-rock songs are catchy and sincere. If you like slower, alternative style music with a modern pop beat then Gameface is for you. If you tied me down and forced me to compare their style to somebody else I would have to say it’s mix between Garth Brooks and Incubus. Gameface has a really mellow side to them. The second time I listened to their cd I was so relaxed I wanted to take a nap, although, Gameface is very versatile and seems to infiltrate many of their modern rock influences into their sound.
