“Epic Rock Tales” is a new animated serious produced by the excellent metal music site Loudwire.
The premise is simple enough… get a rock star and have them open up about some messed up stuff that happened in their life.
Because let’s face it, if one is looking for a life full of drug-fueled decisions, ‘rock-star’ is a good place to start.
At the time of this writing, three episodes have been released… all entertaining and are only a few minutes each.
My only epic rock tale involves Sebastian Bach stealing my weed.
Corey Taylor of Slipknot explaining how Faith No More put him on the path to righteous rock-stardom…
Ace Frehley of Kiss recounting a bizarre sexual coincidence in Mexico with a fan…
Lita Ford recounts what it is like having Ozzy Osbourne as a guest for Easter Dinner at her parents house…
I could listen to these all day… looking forward to more from Loudwire.
This is also an interesting series called, “Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?” done by the same website. As the title suggests, they dive into the Wikipedia page of a musical ‘celebrity’ to discern which entries are accurate, close, or just plain wrong and shows how ‘off’ a trusted source of information can be.
Here is another ‘Fact or Fiction’ with Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe. You KNOW there are some rumors spun about this guy…
