Following in the star-making footsteps of his own mentor Dr. Dre, who also helped launch Eminem, Snoop Dogg has assembled female MCs Chan, Kola, and Coniyac to form Doggys Angels. Unfortunately, Snoops eye for talent is not quite as sharp as the good Doctors. Pleezbaleevit reveals Chan, Kola, and Koniyac to be adequate at best. Even strong production, largely handled by Fredwreck Nassar and Battlecat (his incorporation of a steel drum loop on the title track is rather buttery), and numerous guest appearances by Snoop himself cant quite bail the Angels out. If you miss this one, you wont have missed much. Please believe it.
