Review: X

X
“At Home With You”
(Morphius)

Um, wasn’t there already a punk band called X? Is this them? Nope. This X is very average 70’s style rock from Australia, reminisint of the Stooges and… X. Not this X, the other X. This X has apparently been around for a while, but I guess I wasn’t aware. Why would you name your band X when it already existed halfway around the world? Is Australia that far out of the loop? Maybe X was first. I also get confused when I hear about Canadian’s Subhumans, who sound very different then the Subhumans I grew up listening to but are considered one of the biggest Canadian punk bands to break that scene. Oh well, I get confused easily. If you like 70’s rock with early punk style, get this.
