Review: Wild Dub: Dread Meets Punk Rocker

Various Artists
“Wild Dub: Dread Meets Punk Rocker”
(Select Cuts)

It is just what you would expect based upon the title, a little reggae to make you bang your head. Funky and catchy, this comp utilizes some of our nation’s punx to comprise a release revolving around dubs. With showings by the Clash, Generation X, Stiff Little Fingers and others one can feel secure in this album’s worth based upon talent represented. Dirty punx will find this release a useful addition to their collection of abstract albums only gutter punx would consider keeping.
