Review: The Unicorns

The Unicorns
“Who Will Cut Our Hair When We’re Gone?”
(Alien 8)

The Unicorns have a cool vibe goin’.  From their cover artwork to the clever song titles, to the dancing style disco punk that they’re rockin’.  Music that makes you dance is the way to be going these days and The Unicorns are doing it.  There are moments of odd experimentation with the use of keyboards and manipulation of drums tones that will be something that you haven’t heard before.  There is something original happening on The Unicorns latest album.  Every song on “Who Will Cut Our Hair When We’re Gone” has a different feel and incorporates a different musical angle.  The

mood is always changing and makes you wonder what the next song is going to sound like.  The Unicorns are a breath of fresh air from all the repetitive shit that we are all subject to on a daily basis.  If you’re in the mood for some upbeat dance rock I would highly recommend picking up The Unicorns, it will make you happy.
