Not the best thing to come out of a stereo. A bit too indie for indie’s sake. Sometimes alternative, sometimes instrumental, a lot of times sung off key and mostly annoying. Hard-to-enjoy rock and sway with a bit too much of a college-radio wank factor. It’s all been done before better and worse, incredibly and unforgettably. Anyone interested in the kind of shit you’d hear at a small, independent records in-store meet and greet in suburban New Jersey, maybe you’ll want to hear this. Otherwise, save your pennies. Note: on the song ‘Jangled’, David Downman sings “I may not know what I want” and in terms of the style of music the band tries to play, he couldn’t have been more right.
