Mention “experimental guitar” and the natural reaction is to think electric guitar. However, Basho-Junghaus is a rare bird in that he does his experimental guitar acoustically. His talent was alongside other such rare birds on Henry Kaiser’s “156 Strings” compilation (Cuneiform, 2002).
Now we get an entire disc of his musings upon a Takoma Records style, ala John Fahey, Leo Kottke and Robbie Basho.
