Review: Puny Human

Puny Human
“It’s Not The Heat, It’s The Humanity”
(Small Stone Records)

Regurgitated 70’s-styled stoner-boogie-fuzz-rock-bong-metal. Alabama Thunderpussy, Fu Manchu, Clutch, Nebula and Solace are all doing it now based on what Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Thin Lizzy, Grand Funk Railroad and Lynyrd Skynyrd were doing then. With a name based on a phrase in “The Incredible Hulk” comic book and as much thought going into the band’s sound, the dudes in Puny Human have successfully achieved nothing new and nothing exceptional, although the artwork is nice.
