Nonpoint is good. Plain and simple; the vocals are clean sounding and backed by just enough metal edge to keep me interested. They don’t scream about politics or any corporate bullshit…it’s more like music you’d hear while Action hero Bruce Willis kicks someone’s ass or Mel Gibson goes running down a hill with crazy face make-up. They can’t even pretend they didn’t have a track on the NASCAR “Crank It Up” release as “Circles” paints the portrait of winning circle glory. They run similar lines of Linkin Park but seem to have the lesser of the “trendy” sound. Their music seems to have the power of strength and I almost believe the music they’re selling. The tracks are mysterious and I dig that. Very good.
