Fourteen years, four continents and 16 countries later MU330 are back with their 7th full length release “Ultra Panic”. The album sounds more ska than ever. But don’t let that stop you from having a listen. The tunes are very catchy and I caught myself bouncing my head to the beat. There is not a lot new sound in this cd but rather the tried and true method of good ska. Raw Fish, is the first song on the track that catches you with the great horns. With the move towards more traditional ska some might say they sound more like the Toasters or the Scofflaws. Not so, as their sound is less conventional but the ska is a little experimental with some poppy overtones. If anyone is into ska-punk this should be on your to do list.
