One of the more rockin’ two pieces you’ll ever hear. Consisting of drummer Paul Quattrone (lead drummer as he’s credited) and Phil Boyd handling guitar, vocals, moog and cdx keyboards, the duo creates more sassy vintage tinted rock in one song than most bands with twice the member count can in a whole album. Up tempo and sparkin’, laced with drug infected sounds, but mostly some rocking guitars on some booty shaking beats. It rocks and that’s all you need to know. It sounds vaguely “retro”, as both of these musicians admittedly are heavily influenced by old bluesy 50’s music and b-movie horror films. Adequately filling in that “garage” sound with a great sensibility and creativity. Sloppy and ragged now become chic and daring. And rocking. And that’s all that really matters now doesn’t it?
