Review: Groove Corporation

Groove Corporation
“Dub Plates from the Elephant House Vol.2”
(Different Drummer)

This shit’s infectious.  It’s like liquid audio.  Slippery grooves and rubbery basslines with just enough weirdness for your head and just enough sense to make you smile.all while taping your feet or dreaming into a really nice horn riff.  Lovely.  There are bits of dub and reggae influence intertwined nicely which will only widen this record’s appeal.  “let Me Tell you Something” is probably one of my favorites on this record with its crunchy process vocal samples and sci-fi snyth sounds flying around a nice a chopped break. If you are into any form of down tempo music this will light
you up.
