Review: Flamethrower

Flamethrower
“Self-Titled”
(Dead Teenager Records)

With all the sensitive, touching music out there today, it’s good to know that a band like Flamethrower is around to destroy and plunder . Flamethrower is like a supercharged engine burning through the pages of rock and roll. Vocalist Brian High is reminiscent of  a modern day Lemmy but rocks with bigger balls if that is even possible. Flamethrower’s debut self-titled album is pure intensity that makes me want to become a trucker and drive across the US with their  CD on loop. Not for the light hearted, listening to Flamethrower at high volume can blow your ass out.  It is the perfect blend of metal, punk and plain old rock and roll.
