Review: Every Time I Die

Every Time I Die
“Hot Damn!”
(Ferret)

Although starting out on an average hardcore pace, Every Time I Die picks up the slack and makes ‘Hot Damn!’ a pretty damn cool album. Kinda reminds me of Curl Up and Die without some of the metal influence. I don’t actually own any of Every Time I Die’s previous material, but I did see them perform twice, so I thought I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Yelling, loud drums, riff riff riff. It’s better then that, and will probably appease fans of the genre. I mean, aside from the spacey “In The Event That Everything Should Go Terribly Wrong”, highlights like “Floater” and “Hit of the Search Party” bring out the best of the band and will probably be your favorites as well.
