Review: Die Trying

““Self-Titled””
(Island / El Tonal)

Taking a page from their label’s owners (Papa Roach) Die Trying has released their rock heavy debut. There was a huge part of me that wanted to dislike this CD when I first received it. Frankly there are just too many bands that, sound wise, are in the same vein as Die Trying and I didn’t need another. “Oxygen’s Gone”, “Turn Up The Radio” and “Runaway” will leave you wondering, “Who was that band?
