Review: Blinding Light

Blinding Light
““The Ascension Attempt””
(Deathwish)

Deathwish is really going all out with these noisecore bands. Blinding Light are most comparable to a blunt object to the side of the head. The guitars are screech with intensity, the drums pound like thunder while lead-screamer Brian Lovoro does his best Tom Araya impression. Blinding Light play each song with conviction and a general love of what they do. There are plenty of dynamics to keep the music interesting and sustain the listeners attention over the coarse of the album. If you’re a fan of something like Converge or even some of the newer hardcore on the scene then I suggest you check out Blinding Light, but make sure you pack your sunglasses because this one burns.
