Review: Baby Woodrose

Baby Woodrose
“Money for Soul”
(Bad Afro)

This power soul trio has a psychedelic rock style with vocals out front and crystalline clearly delivered in a blue-eyed R&B style. The Danish band performs with two guitars and no bass. The guitars play with extra fuzz adding sufficient emphasis to the drummers’ rhythm that no bass playing is required. This is very much in the ’60s psych tradition. Fans of the Dionysus and Estrus rosters will appreciate this and the rest of Bad Afro.
