Review: All State Champion

All State Champion
“Self-Titled”
(FiveOneInc.)

There’s like 50,000 albums released a year and their meager allowances don’t allow purchasing weak CDs like this. These four melodic hardcore enthusiasts represent all that is boring, repetitive and cliché-driven in the hardcore/emo world. “Where will I go/What will I do now/Without you here beside me?” goes “Night and Day.” Dear lord, spare me from the melodramatic rubbish that All State Champion call lyrics. They’re so uninspiring that I feel bad for the guys. Pass the St. John’s Wort; I’m depressed.
