7th Standard
“Fire From the Sky Ep”
(Immortal)

Not really sure where to put this band quite yet. Although they do have a familiar sound it’s hard to peg who or what they sound like. These guys are definitely heavy on the rock with driving guitars and melodic vocals that whisper like an angel and hook you in like fishing line. Although I do like this Ep, I can see myself getting sick of it very easily. Sure these are some pretty cool songs but not a whole heck of a lot that will keep me coming back for repeated listening. This Ep to me is kind of a teaser to their debut album which should be dropping anytime now. Keep your eyes peeled for 7th Standard, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
