This is Notch the Dolphin.
In January of 2013, divers in the waters near Hawaii were approached by this injured dolphin in need.
The creature had gotten hooked with some fishing line and it wrapped around one of its fins.
It approached some humans, and luckily for the dolphin, they were of the kind-hearted variety.
It’s amazing watching how much trust the animal puts into a human stranger, at times, even going belly up to help give its rescuer better access to the injury.
