This is System of a Down.
They play a sort of twisted nu-metal with a shamanistic mad-man of a singer in Serj Tankian who commands a shrill shriek against his metal bark.
They’ve dropped numerous albums since 1998, played all the festivals, played with all the majors… toured the world.
One of the more well known facts about this foursome is that they are all of Armenian decent.
The band has constantly raised awareness for the Armenian genocide that claimed members of the groups families.
So it was a very special night when the band recently played Armenia for the first time in their careers.
