Right from the first song, picture the Bouncing Souls playing more aggressively, and then that is what this reminds me of. Granted, this was recorded in 1984, that is the best comparison I can think of. lack Stix/Silver Badge” has about one of the best drum intros for a song that I have ever heard and the title track has some mighty fast bass licks. In Control” also features four bonus tracks at the end of the album that were apparently not included originally in 1984. (They were obviously recorded at a different time judging by the quality.) This release would serve a fan of Stalag 13 accordingly, as well as anyone interested in some old-school “fast punk.”
