Reminiscent of the late great Betty Blowtorch, the Shocker features the same kind of poppy/punk with comedic lyrics to make you smile. This band has more hooks than a tackle box as evident on cuts like ‘Angel of the Morning’ and ‘Good Head’. The Shocker feature in their ranks Jennifer Finch former member of L7, which should peek interest of those missing the late great L7. Someone had to fill the void that was left from the unfortunate death of Bianca Butthole and demise of Betty Blowtorch, the Shocker has accepted torch and has took off running.
