There is no other way to describe Neurosis and their music other than a “complete mindfuck”. If you’ve enjoyed a Neurosis record than you too have been assaulted to the core with a sound so layered you can’t help but come back for more. The guitars are hypnotic and place listeners in a trance like state. Guitarist/Vocalist Steve Von Till’s raspy voice haunting through your speaker’s over-top of a wicked jam session makes for pure audio bliss. “The Eye Of Every Storm” devastating to say the least and that is the understatement of the year. If you listen to one person this year, please, please let it be me when I tell you to buy this record; an instant fucking classic.
