In this collaboration multi-instrumentalist R. Stevie Moore keeps the album moving with guitars and keyboards, tapes and turntables as well as percussion. This leaves Jad Fair free to do the fun and silly vocals. R. Stevie Moore is a renegade experimentalist in the tradition of Fair, but going back to the ’60s. Maybe Jad Fair is in the R. Stevie Moore tradition? Either way, they are a natural mate and the chemistry between the two results in a wild and wooly ride of childish humor and wacky home-recorded pop.
