New wave music incorporated David Bowie and Roxy Music look and sound into a sub-genre called the New Romantic Movement. This started by 1980 and burned our halfway through the decade leaving us with its largest success, Duran Duran. Released in 1979 a harbinger of that movement was The Original Sin from Cowboys International.

Cowboys International vocalist Ken Lockie reissued the album as Revisited chock full of b-sides, non-album singles and alternate mixes. The peril of being early in new wave was finding the human component to juxtapose to the mechanical beats. Cowboys International does not gel completely on that level but this is an important historical document that includes drummer Terry Chimes (The Clash) and guitarist Keith Levene (The Clash, PiL).
