Mr. Goldfish
“Chill for Life”
(Out Records)

This CD made me feel pretty excited about music in general. I played it for a handful of friends and everybody loved it. It sounds fresh and nostalgic all at once.  It kind of just takes you somewhere new but still has all these familiar feelings that make you right at home.  One of my friends insisted it was great make out music and took it home to his wife so he could make sure.  I had to pry it out of his hands, when his wife wasn’t home, to get it back.  I made him just go buy the damn thing.

So, what does it sound like? Very thick and down tempo tunes that uplift and really just ride-a-long seducing you into nodding your head. Excellent mix of vocals and instrumentals. My favorite track is “trust Me” which has wonderful changes and is carried along by vocal riffs and really nice delays.  I don’t care what genre of music you like it’s doubtful you won’t like this. For song snippets go check out the website.  Vinyl junkies beware. The site advises that this release will be out on wax at some point. Excellent.
